Madness

Sorry it's been longer than I've expected since the last time I've blogged. I've been insanely busy this past week! I've been hanging out with so many people for the last time here in Brazil.

Even though it's sad to know I'm going through so many lasts here in Brazil, I'm excited for the next firsts. Whenever something leaves your life, something always enters. I know that at the moment it's going to hurt, but I know soon that something new will come up in my life- my next adventure.

Since it's my last week I've been going out almost every night and every day with my friends, it's nice to see them rearranging their schedules to get time in before I leave on Saturday.

I had my last Portuguese class yesterday and I think I'll miss those the most. I always had so much fun and am thankful to have had Elton as my teacher, he is like family for me. Not only him but the rest of the staff is so nice and caring as well. They helped me a lot when I had problems, they gave me hope for my exchange at times I didn't have any.

Along with my last class and my last time seeing my best friends, I got my hair cut and nails done. I feel like a new start means a new look as well.

Today is my last Rotary meeting, it's my last obligation here in Brazil. This last week has just gone by insanely fast, it hasn't slowed down for anything.

No matter how sad and exciting and weird all go my feelings are, I know its normal and everyone goes through this. The more you know that it's normal, the less it really effects you. Just like in your first couple of months. It was hard but I knew it was normal. The reason I was so broken down from my second family was because my situation wasn't normal for an exchange. Every part besides those few months, I've enjoyed. I know that what exchange is, is amazing, the hard feelings are normal and you have to accept that. Just sometimes in life you get some rotten apples, you can't let the rotten apples ruin the whole batch, which I let happen for a little while and am learning from it.

Right now I'm taking the ripe ones and am making the most of my last few days here. I'm ending my exchange with happiness, I'll see these people again someday and I know that. If you leave exchange without hope, you obviously haven't seen the wonders that the world provides.

I don't know the next time I'll be able to blog. I'll probably be in the airport or home by the next time you hear from me.

Just know that I'm having a great time and it's all going the way it's supposed to be. :)
