Practice & Repetition

Recently I've been realizing that I've incorporated the lessons I've learned over the past month with my everyday life, and it's amazing. It's rewarding to see what practice and repetition really does for how you handle every situation and go about everyday.

I've been practicing to better myself everyday by paying attention to the good and complimenting others when I notice something just so I can see them brighten or so I can go a little out of my comfort zone and just see myself expand.

I've recently been having some problems in the United States concerning my best friend. She's been having some family problems and it's really taking a toll on her. It hurts me not to be there for her. But I know that the time we are apart we are both growing and learning to deal with our problems separately.

I realized that the only thing I can do for her is be there for her and try to make her feel better. I decided to make a presentation on all of the things I love about her and all of the things we have to look forward to together. It may have only been something small but it made all of the difference with her. She hasn't had anyone there for her recently and her always having that list with her is going to be useful for if she ever needs a reminder.

I miss her to the moon and back and I can't wait to see her when I get back. Her and I are going to be completely different people, but I know no matter what we will still be best friends.

I'm going to keep utilizing what I've learned here to help try to better the lives of the people around me. Just the smallest thing can make someone feel better, even if they don't react well, you are expanding yourself.
