...Brazil!

I've been wanting to be a part of Rotary Youth Exchange since 7th grade. Since 7th grade I have been wondering where I would go and if I would make it.

Well I made it!

Now where I was going was the next thing I was waiting for. Nothing really sunk it until I was invited to my local clubs Rotary meeting and was handed a book on Rio de Janeiro...

I'm going to BRAZIL!!!!!

I would have never expected to be going to Brazil, but now that I am I couldn't imagine being assigned to any other country. The constant celebration of life down there excites me. I hope to come back with new perspectives and more motivation to make the most of everything.

I will be blogging the entire process from here on out; you can see my struggle to learn Portuguese, my life here in Indiana, preparing (the best I can) to go abroad, and finally my departure and everything after.
